Choose roses in several forms: edible petals for cakes and desserts, buds for infusions and decoration, and colour variations from pink to deep red. Rose petals suit pastry work, wedding decoration and homemade desserts. Sprinkle petals over cakes or pralines, brew the buds or use them in a composition, and use the material in handmade projects. For wedding confetti made from rose petals, see floral confetti.
