Please read before ordering from the USA
Following new US import rules introduced in August 2025, Poczta Polska no longer accepts parcels to the United States. The only available carrier is UPS, and UPS charges brokerage, customs clearance and import-related fees before or at delivery. Recent charges have typically ranged from $30 to $120+ USD, depending on the order value and UPS/customs assessment.
These charges are set by UPS, US Customs or other authorities. They are not included in our product prices or shipping costs unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Herbal Mansion does not collect, control, prepay or refund these charges.
Processing & dispatch
- Dispatch time is counted from the moment the payment is confirmed.
- Standard (tracked) shipments are sent via Polish Post (Poczta Polska).
- Courier (tracked) shipments are sent via DPD or UPS, depending on availability for the delivery address.
- Delivery times below are estimates and may vary due to carrier workload, remote areas, weather, holidays, and customs processing.

What changed
Following new US import rules introduced in August 2025, Poczta Polska (Polish Post) no longer accepts parcels going to the United States. The only carrier still available to us is UPS, and UPS routes packages through formal customs clearance.
What this means for you
UPS, US Customs or other authorities may charge customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees or other import-related charges before or at delivery.
Recent UPS charges for US deliveries have typically ranged from $30 to $120+ USD, depending on the declared value of the order and UPS/customs assessment. Larger orders may result in higher charges.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Herbal Mansion does not collect, control, prepay or refund these charges.
Your responsibility as importer
By placing an order for delivery to the United States, you accept responsibility for the import of the goods into the United States. You are responsible for checking that the ordered products may be legally imported, monitoring the tracking link, responding to UPS or customs requests, providing any information required for customs clearance, paying all import-related charges and collecting the parcel within the required time.
Refused delivery or unpaid import charges
Refusal to accept delivery, refusal or failure to pay customs duties, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees or other import-related charges, failure to contact UPS/customs, failure to provide information required for customs clearance, or failure to collect the parcel does not cancel the order and does not entitle the buyer to a full refund.
If a parcel is returned, stored, abandoned, disposed of, delayed, lost or otherwise charged by UPS or customs due to the buyer’s action or inaction, all resulting costs may be deducted from any refund or charged to the buyer. These costs may include original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees, storage fees, return fees, disposal fees and administrative charges.
If the parcel is not returned to us in resaleable condition, or is abandoned or disposed of by UPS or customs due to the buyer’s action or inaction, we may be unable to issue a refund, where permitted by applicable law.
Our process - the 48-hour cancellation window
To reduce the risk of surprise charges, we may send a personal email after a US order reminding you of the customs and UPS fee risk, with a 48-hour window to cancel for a full refund before dispatch if you do not want to proceed.
Once the order has been dispatched, refusal of delivery, unpaid import charges or failure to cooperate with UPS/customs will be handled under the rules above.
EU and non-EU customs rules
European Union deliveries: Orders shipped from Poland to addresses within the European Union do not require import customs clearance and are not subject to customs duties or import duties inside the EU customs area.
Non-EU international deliveries: Orders shipped outside the European Union, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and other non-EU destinations, may be subject to customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees, storage fees, return fees, disposal fees or other charges imposed by the destination country, customs authorities, government bodies or the carrier.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Herbal Mansion does not collect, control, prepay or refund these charges.
Buyer’s responsibility as importer
For deliveries outside the European Union, the buyer is responsible for the import of the goods into the destination country, to the extent applicable under local customs rules.
- The buyer must check local import rules before ordering.
- The buyer must confirm that the ordered products may be legally imported into the destination country.
- The buyer must monitor tracking and respond promptly to the carrier, customs broker or customs authority.
- The buyer must provide any information required for customs clearance.
- The buyer must pay all customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees and other import-related charges.
- The buyer must collect the parcel within the required time.
Herbal Mansion is not responsible for customs restrictions, import refusals, delays, seizures or charges caused by local laws, customs procedures or the buyer’s failure to cooperate with the carrier or customs authorities.
Customs delays and carrier contact
Delivery times are estimates only and may be extended by customs clearance, carrier workload, inspections, missing information, unpaid charges, holidays, weather, remote delivery areas or other events outside our control.
Once tracking is provided, the buyer must monitor the shipment and respond promptly to any request from the carrier, customs broker or customs authority. This may include payment requests, delivery instructions, identity verification, product-use confirmation or other customs clearance information.
Failure to contact the carrier or customs authority, failure to provide required information, failure to pay import-related charges or failure to collect the parcel may result in delay, return, storage, abandonment, disposal or loss of the parcel.
Refused delivery, unpaid import charges or failure to contact carrier
Refusal to accept delivery, refusal or failure to pay customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees or other import-related charges, failure to contact the carrier or customs authority, failure to provide information required for customs clearance, or failure to collect the parcel does not cancel the order and does not entitle the buyer to a full refund.
If a parcel is returned, stored, abandoned, disposed of, delayed, lost or otherwise charged by the carrier or customs authority due to the buyer’s action or inaction, all resulting costs may be deducted from any refund or charged to the buyer. These costs may include original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs duties, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, carrier fees, storage fees, return fees, disposal fees and administrative charges.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable where non-delivery results from buyer refusal, unpaid import charges, customs issues caused by the buyer, failure to cooperate with the carrier or customs authority, or failure to collect the parcel.
If the parcel is returned to us in resaleable condition, any refund, if applicable, will be calculated after deduction of all shipping, customs, carrier, storage, return, disposal and administrative costs incurred or charged to us.
If the parcel is not returned to us, is returned damaged or not in resaleable condition, or is abandoned or disposed of by the carrier or customs authority due to the buyer’s action or inaction, we may be unable to issue a refund, where permitted by applicable law.
Any replacement shipment, if agreed, may require payment of new shipping costs and any outstanding charges connected with the original shipment.
Missing or delayed parcel
If your parcel is late, here is what to do:
- Check the tracking link from your shipping confirmation email.
- Verify the delivery address and look for any delivery attempt notice.
- Contact us as soon as possible - we will work with the courier to investigate.
Please note: in some cases, carriers only allow claims after a parcel has been delayed for a certain period.
