Whole dried flower buds are gathered before opening and provide a highly decorative form of botanical material. They can add detail to candles, wax melts, bath salts, bath bombs, scented compositions and gift sets. Rose buds range from pink to burgundy and can be displayed in a jar, on a cake or in a table composition; jasmine buds add a floral character to teas. Buds can also be used in infusions, dessert decoration, gifts, crafts and arrangements. For petals and whole flowers, browse the other dried-flower categories.
