Barks

Barks are dried plant materials taken from the outer parts of selected woody plants and shrubs. This category is for ingredients with a pronounced structure and woody or spicy character, used in blends, infusions, decoctions and spice compositions. It includes Ceylon cinnamon and cassia, lapacho, catuaba, cat's claw and muira puama, from familiar kitchen spices to materials associated with South American traditions.
