Dried Rose Bud Sampler - 4 Bud Varieties in One Pack

A curated sampler of four dried rose bud varieties - Red, Pink, Golden Red and Yellow - packed together so you can compare colour, size and fragrance side by side. This set focuses specifically on whole rose buds, chosen for their compact shape and vivid tones. Whether you are blending your own herbal teas, crafting wedding confetti, styling a photoshoot, or experimenting with resin, soap or candle making, the sampler gives you everything you need to test each variety before committing to a larger quantity.

Looking for rose petals, whole flower heads or other rose varieties? Our full Roses collection includes more options, from single-colour petals to mixed blends.

Choose Your Size

Each sampler contains four rose bud varieties in equal portions. Pick the size that matches how you intend to use them:

  • Small Pack - 20 g total (4 x 5 g): a true starter set. Ideal for first-time buyers, small craft projects, tea tasting, or adding accents to gift boxes, jewellery and resin pieces.
  • Medium Pack - 60 g total (4 x 15 g): the most popular option. Enough to build a small tea blend collection, decorate a bridal bouquet, fill several sachets, or supply a home-scale soap or candle batch.
  • Large Pack - 100 g total (4 x 25 g): for those with bigger plans. A generous supply for wedding tables, larger cosmetic runs, bulk tea blends, potpourri jars, or shops preparing handmade products for sale.

About the Four Varieties

  • Red Rose Buds - deep crimson tones with a classic, rich rose aroma. A favourite for romantic decor, red tea blends and traditional herbal recipes.
  • Pink Rose Buds - soft, pastel buds with a gentle floral scent. Popular for weddings, bridal showers, bath salts and lighter tea infusions.
  • Golden Red Rose Buds - warm copper-red hues with a slightly honeyed character. Beautiful in autumn arrangements, spiced blends and rustic craft projects.
  • Yellow Rose Buds - bright, sunny petals that lift any mix. Ideal for cheerful bouquets, summer blends, confetti and photography props.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these rose buds food-safe? Can I use them for tea?

Yes. All four varieties in this sampler are food-grade, naturally dried whole rose buds with no artificial colours, fragrances or preservatives. They are suitable for herbal tea blends, cake decoration, edible garnishes and infusions. For brewing, use roughly 1 teaspoon of buds per cup of hot water and steep for 5-7 minutes.

How long will the rose buds stay fresh?

Stored properly - in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong odours - the buds keep their colour, shape and aroma for up to 24 months. We recommend resealing the pouch after each use and, for longer storage, transferring to an airtight glass jar.

Can I use them for candles, soap or resin?

Absolutely. Dried rose buds are widely used in candle making (embedded in the wax or placed on top before the final pour), cold process and melt-and-pour soap, bath bombs, bath salts, resin jewellery, bookmarks and keepsakes. Because the buds are whole and dried naturally, they hold their shape well in both wax and resin.

Are the buds whole, or are they petals?

This sampler contains whole rose buds, not loose petals or open flower heads. If you are looking for petals, flower heads or other rose formats, please see our full Roses collection.

Do you offer larger or wholesale quantities?

Yes. We regularly supply florists, soap makers, tea blenders, wedding planners and shops with bulk quantities of dried rose buds. For orders above 1 kg per variety, or for custom colour combinations, please contact us directly and we will prepare a personalised offer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship Herbal Mansion orders worldwide from our warehouse in Poland (EU). Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated automatically at checkout based on your destination. Dispatch usually takes 1-3 business days from the order date.

How do the four colours differ?

Red buds are the deepest and most fragrant, with a classic rose aroma. Pink buds are softer, paler and gentler in scent - the most popular for weddings. Golden Red buds have a warm copper hue with slightly honeyed notes, beautiful in autumn blends. Yellow buds are bright and cheerful, ideal for summer decor and lighter infusions.
